Room 5 Problem Solving Challenge!  

 Room 5 have been working on our problem solving skills and strategies in mathematics. We were lucky enough to have a mathematics expert come into our classroom on Wednesday to help us understand and build up our problem solving skills and strategies. 
 We looked at how to look at problems and how to challenge our mathematical thinking through accountable talk and questioning techniques. We learn't how to ask effective questions and that we need to explain our thinking when problem solving. But most of all we learnt that taking a risk with our learning is our biggest strength in helping us to grow academically.
